Just curious to see how many have read it and who is looking forward to it.

Its one of the best novels I have read period, and I can't wait for the movie. The trailer is the best ive seen in a while.

I read the Graphic Novel twice. I love it.

From what I hear Kevin Smith has seen a rough cut... and it's perfect.

Cool, he also loved the star wars prequels though...

And so did I. However you also have to look at it from his perspective. He's a huge Star Wars/George Lucas fan boy.

OK so that makes him an expert on Watchmen???

He would defenitely play Comic Book Dude if they ever mad a Simpsons live action feature.

There's a huge legal battle brimming between WB and FOX over who has the movie rights to Watchmen. Bottom line, there's a chance the movie won't be released as scheduled if the dispute isn't settled.

There is absolutely no chance either studio will allow the release to be affected. There will be money changing hands however. WB won't allow a huge blockbuster to get pushed back and Fox won't take the PR hit of blocking the release.

The sad thing is that the trial is set to start on January 6th. That's my 21st birthday.
