What ever happened to that director/final/unrated cut of Kill Bill that combined both movies into one?

I remember HD DVD was supposed to get that version and Blu was going to get the individual releases.

I think it has something to do with ownership rights. Miramax owns the two individual releases and the Weinstein company owns the complete work.

Well, so much for trying to be timely and accurate. Apparently the Superman Returns reissue was postponed until next week, September 16.

In case anyone's interested...

Jason, hates release date changes

Jason, any luck with a Smallville S7 review for us? I just finished watching S6, and was really excited to see Smallville's Bizarro...

^ I just got it last night from the Warner Store. I probably won't have time to watch any of it for a bit (weeks, months, years...?), but it did come in a cardboard slipcover. The book insert has a pretty nifty drawing of the regular cast from S7 (sans John Glover, IIRC). I was kinda shocked to see all 20 eps over only 3 discs, but others have said the picture quality is on par with the HD broadcasts, IIRC.

Jason, does that help?

Are you sure it's only 3 discs?!? I mean, with 4 episodes the transfer already suffers, it would be even worse with 7 (!) episodes per disc...oh, well, no review then either way it was going to be a blind buy, specially for Supergirl and to see the conclusion of Bizarro...

They said this season is not as good, but as far as I've been reading, S8 promises a whole lot more than we can expect, with more characters...

100% sure is 3 discs. I was shocked, too, honestly. I think they're BD-50's (maybe the third is a BD-25, I don't rightly know). If I get to pop the finale in, I'll check in. But I don't think it's gonna happen...

Jason, Supergirl = Dog Face!

Oh, you are talking blu... ...OK, still even if I had a BR player I wouldn't pay $65 for the show on HD, not yet...

And mine was $44 from the Warner Store.

Jason, should be more specific
