Coming soon to a pawn shop near you ... Michael Bay's stuff.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ director Michael Bay was the victim of a home break-in at his apartment in New Mexico last night. He's staying down there while filming "Transformers 2." If surveillance video of the crime exists, it's probably grossly over-directed, but will take in $100 mil at the box office anyway.

Authorities wouldn't confirm what was taken, but we can only hope it was every copy of the movie "Pearl Harbor."

Poor Mikey, he gets no love at all.

EDIT: Oh ya the link...

I thought Michael Bay had an alarm system featuring the soothing sounds of explosions.

That was a funny video.

Michael Bay sets out to make popcorn eating entertaining movies and he SUCCEEDS. His movies ROCK!

I own Armageddon, The Island, Pearl Harbor and Transformers. Great movies!

For as much as I like Transformers (IMO, one of the best popcorn movies ever, below and close to Raiders), I have a weird feeling about The Island. I mean, I wish it could be like a sequel or prequel to THX-1138 (and that's what I set it to be in my mind), but really, it lacks in story, big time...action? Great, but it was a little lack of story...

The Island IMO blew away THX-1138 although it was definitely copying the idea. Lucas made a movie I could hardly get through. Thank goodness he became a better director and made the gems we call STAR WARS.

Pearl Harbor ==> From Here to Eternity
Armageddon ==> Meteor
The Island ==> Logan's Run

I'll say one thing for Bay, he does put a lot of effort into original work.

Begat, begat, begat!!!
