I live in the U.S. but want to order something only on the German amazon.com site. Is it possible for me to use my U.S. account with the German site to order a DVD? If I can would i incur some crazy taxes that may show up on my credit card later?

What are you trying to buy, the German version of Transformers?

I would think any taxes that would appear if they do at all would be based on a percent of the sale. So I would not expect to buy a 30 dollar item and pay 50 dollars in tax

Don't get me excited Tim
No, I'm actually trying to get the HD DVD of Terminator 2. The steelbook ultimate edition. I do not want to shop at exploitedcinema as I see that as being a weird site. I mean, just look at the freaking pictures at the top of the site.

Not only that but when you surf their catalog you start to feel like you might be given a free gag ball or dildo with each order
That site is definitely not for me.

If Amazon sells a product themselves, they'll use your regular credit card account no matter from which Amazon you're buying: Amazon USA, Germany, France, Japan, etc. However, a lot of second-party retailers use Amazon, too, and they don't always ship to certain locations (like the U.S.).
Also, note that there may be a huge shipping cost involved. I once bought a hard-to-get import CD from Amazon Japan. The CD was about $12 U.S., but the shipping cost was something like $25! As I had always wanted the disc and the disc was unavailable anywhere else in the world, I bought it, anyway, figuring that $37 was still a good deal.

Thanks for the info John. I thought that may be the case. Well, they don't have the movie in stock at the moment and I tried to buy from another seller but it came up with an error. Do you know a place other than xploited that has this movie.
