ign.com gave it a 7.3
x-play gave it a 2 out of 5

They both say that the presentation is great, but the gameplay pretty much sucks. However, some reader reviews offer a more positive spin.

The common factors seem to be the gameplay is great as is the scenery and environments but as you get deeper into the game, and your force powers develop, the game starts getting a little too easy.

Some nice tie-ins to the movie franchise as well apparently.

I'm buying it within the next couple of days as I enjoyed playing the demo.

I also read bad camera issues. Hard locking onto the object you actually want to throw (bad targeting aka. old GTA) and lame boss battles, except for the last two. The game is also short, 8 hrs i believe was the average. Their are quite a few glitches as well. But on the positive side, great story, sound (duh). and the reader reviews are generally positive about the game. I'm getting it too.

edit:
Interesting little tidbit. Ign actually gave the PSP version a 7.5. It is obviously a different game though. I may pick that one up as well, it looks good.

You can get the game and a $20 gift card for $60 at ToysRus right now. In an hour I will be picking one up if they have it in stock. This deal includes only the PS3 and 360 versions.

Now you've got me worried Wolvinator! A $20 gift card for a game of this magnitude either means one of two things. The game is getting bad reviews, and Toys R Us knows this.. have a ton of copies in stock, and wants to get rid of as many as possible because they are not a company that can afford to be stuck with bad merchandise..or, it's just a REALLY nice promo. Go get it and let us know!

Its gonna get average to below average review but if you like the demo you will like the game.

Personally I like to trust how good a game is to gamefly and its user ratings. I find that gives a good honest answer to that. Which gave it a 9.3 that is for 360 I would think its about the same for a ps3

got it..high production values..iffy controls. a must buy for star wars fans. this is no metal gear or c.o.d. though. kinda dissapointed..just because of the controls and camera. 7.6/10

Judging by the demo, this is God of War in space. The use of the light saber compared to Kratos's chain swords and destructive powers, but it's still a must have for me.
