Regardless of ramifications, i am quite proud of our congress today for not giving into this unprecedented, unjust, corrupt, and just plain wrong, "Bailout plan." We ALL suffer now. Not just the poor, or the middle class, and this is as it should be.

Now lets do something that will matter. That $700,000,000,000? Give it to the people. Roughly 200,000,000 taxpaying Americans, which equals about $35k per person. What would be done with that money?

- Pay down/off a mortgage. Money to the bank.
- Pay down/off credit cards. Money to the bank.
- Open IRA and other retirement accounts. Money to the bank.
- Put money into a savings account. Money to the bank.

Spend it, too, to put cash into the economy. Wanna talk about stimulation? $600 is nothing.

IMO, Jason's idea would be fair and just considering the people below the banking industry are the ones that need the bailing out! However, and knowing how our government works, you'd only get $600 of it because it would cost the government 34.4k in expenses per each tax payer.
