All I did was state the facts... about Reagan, Obama's drug use and smoking, and the CNN analysts dissing that I saw back in the summer. Sorry that you are offended, and feel the need to then twist again - and attack me ("get a grip").

McCain has addressed concerns about his age and past health concerns, stating in 2005 that his health was "excellent". He has been treated for a type of skin cancer called melanoma, and an operation in 2000 for that condition left a noticeable mark on the left side of his face. McCain's prognosis appears favorable, according to independent experts, especially because he has already survived without a recurrence for more than seven years. In May 2008, McCain's campaign let the press review his medical records, and he was described as appearing cancer-free, having a strong heart and in general good health.

View profile »spin all you want, but the facts remain--mccain has had cancer. obama has not. saying that obama might get cancer is like saying that so-and-so might get into a car accident. well, duh! there are certain risks associated with being alive in the first place! LOL.

This will probably be the only time I check in here today, but IIRC, George W. Bush had several DUI's and assorted other problems with alcohol. So, obviously, he, McCain and Obama are unfit to president, right?

Obama is a lightweight next to him and really, what child of the 60's HASN'T tried a thing or two?
If health is an issue for people than obviously Obama wins that one hands down but we can't assume either one of these two (Obama or McCain) is going to kick the can in the next four years, unless of course you're really worried about Palin being president of America.

That is true. McPain's doctors have even said that his cancer has about an 80% chance of returning, and when it does it will be game over.
Now, the chances are Obama might get lung cancer, or he might not. Recent studies have shown an increase of lung cancer in (hold on to your shorts) NON-SMOKERS!!!!
Is it second hand smoke causing this?
Could it be that big brown cloud that hangs over almost every major city in the world?
Who knows, but it's always easy to attack big tobacco and have no attack ad campaigns against other industries that pollute our air quality.
Bottom line is, no matter who you elect in office there will always be the risk of Presidential Death. I don't care how healthy you are, the President could die from choking on a pretzel. Therefore, look at who will take over the position in case this happens. And when I do that, I really have to step back and wonder if a hockey mom is ready to lead a country? As Matt Damon put it, "It's like a bad Disney movie"!
