I wanted to hear what you plan to spin in your players this weekend and why not use the new Release Feature announced yesterday.

Personally, I finally got around to watching the last bit of Batman: The Movie [Blu-ray] ». It sure isn't the Dark Knight but it is funny to see how you can put the same characters in a very different universe plus I liked the series as a kid.

I also plan to get started with Mad Men (TV Series) [Season 1] [Blu-ray] ». I missed it first time around but the Emmy win convinced me it was worth a look.

I also might return to watch some of the extras found on When We Left Earth: The NASA Missions [4-disc Set] [Blu-ray] ». I finished the main content a couple of days ago and I can't recommend it enough if you like space exploration.

Besides that I might watch Forgetting Sarah Marshall [Rated & Unrated (w/Digital Copy)] [Blu-ray] » as a light snack movie and I hope I can get started on "Lego: Batman - The Video Game" if I find available time.

What will you be watching?

I finally got around to playing Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock (I suck by the way) so I'm sure when the family comes over on Saunday we'll be playing that and Star Wars: Force Unleashed. I wish Socom was out already but we have to wait til it's release on Thursday.

Movie wise I'm getting the Coppola restored Godfather Trilogy (bluray) tomorrow so I'll probably watch Godfather 2 since I already watched the first one via rental. Also getting Iron Man (bluray) tomorrow which I'm sure the kids are going to want to watch that. Bram Stokers Dracula (bluray) arrived in my mailbox from zip.ca (online movie rental site) so hopefully I'll watch that at some point also.

It's gonna be a busy weekend so Happy Thanksgiving for those of you celebrating it this weekend like us in Canada. I know in the U.S. they celebrate it in November so Happy Thanksgiving you also.

blade, you're correct, it is football season but college football doesn't appeal to me, only the pros. As far as what I'm watching this weekend? Well lastnight I watched Reign Over Me with Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle from Netflix streamming service. The movie was ok but not what I expected. Right now I'm getting ready to stream Across the Universe.

Let's see...

Watched Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer [DVD] » last night.
Saw Body of Lies this morning.
Plan on watching Boy A [DVD] » tonight.
Plan on watching New World, The [Extended Cut] [DVD] » tomorrow.

I think that's plenty for the weekend.

Underworld: Evolution - Blu-ray. Liked the first one and the wife is out of town. Just need to get the kids to bed.

Sunday night will be the Nightmare Before Chrsitmas on Bluray which I just got this week. Can't wait to see it and hear it as it will be the only blu-ray with 7.1 that I have seen.

hope you all have a nice holiday weekend.

It's Saturday - COLLEGE FOOTBALL of course!

Wow - what an incredible game earlier as my Texas Longhorns whooped the #1-ranked Oklahoma Sooners! I'm also a fan of baseball, and the the playoffs are in full swing right now, with the World Series coming up. I like several of the teams here, and just want to see exciting games.

Henning... (LOL) - you started this thread to show people how to do the new release-link option - who are you kidding?

whoa...what is going on in college football? the past two seasons have been "whack" but very unpredictable and exciting eh. i'm happy for ya hendrix, maybe we will see texas's proud son vince young finally play for the titans tomorrow? or maybe not? they are 5-0 without him...hmmm. anyway...

"the nightmare before christmas" is demo, so enjoy that on sunday dude.

pro football has also been pretty "whack" these past few seasons. it's a shame that we can't start some sort of fantasy thing on here just for fun...cowboys/jets...super bowl pick.

and finally, the world series. really sad for the cub fans out there..hmm. i have no idea on this one. hows about a guess. sox/dodgers?
