We all know that times are tough. So what. This is your time. "What would you like for Christmas?"
"What are you excited to give?"
(We shall all respect any and all religious sectors in this post.)

I would like to GET an iPhone. My dad is actually thinking of upgrading both of our phones for Christmas. Who knows. That'd be awesome but my hopes aren't up.
IF I can get a job by then I would like to GIVE my parents a Blu-Ray Player... so I don't have to haul my PS3 out to the living room.

I apologize if this comes off as high and mighty, but I don't much like the "getting" part anymore. I have the resources to get the things I want when I want them, so "making a list" is kinda out of the question. Mostly, it's odd stuff I would never have thought of before: my sister got me a set of very nice wine glasses last year her best friend got me a food processor the bf found a cotton candy maker etc.
I am always most interested in the giving. My sister is for sure getting spoiled, since she moved into her first place by herself earlier in the month. I'm thinking a ton of kitchen-type stuff (she's a cook like me). A wok, hot air popper, pizza stone...stuff like that. The bf is another story: I think he'll be pretty stoked about the complete series box of Keeping Up Appearances. He's a bit harder because we don't have a bunch of room for big furniture or stuff like that.
Jason, ho ho ho

Pimp!
Good to have that spirit of giving, nowadays when most people just want to get things for free...anyways, I'm saving for the Onkyo HT-S6100 HTIB, which, since it's gonna be on the living room, will be used by everybody in the family. And since I'm not one of those guys who reads minds and knows exactly what people want (jk), I give out gift cards to some of my family members, and to my brother, XBOX games and maybe another yearly Live subscription (like last year)...
