Metal Gear 4 may be heading for the XBox 360 say its publisher. Sony says it might not be possible.

It really isn't a question if it can be done. Of course it can. They could do multiple discs and with the new feature to "rip" games to your XBOX 360's hard drive it would not be an issue for the majority of XBOX gamers.

The real question is how tight the deal is between Sony and Konami to keep the game an PS3 exclusive.

Well like the writer said they could trim the cut scenes which would be fine by me. I heard they are long and you can't play a cut scene, I am not a big fan of cut scenes not they shouldn't be used but just not used alot

I doubt the Cutscenes would be cut. more then likely they'd just compress the audio as much as they can and slap it on two or three disks.

I'm honestly not surprised one bit.

Isn't the first cut scene like 90 minutes? That is a movie not a cut scene

When you have to deviate from what Hideo Kojima did on the PS3 then you get a watered down version of the game. True, cut scenes can be long but in the case of MGS4 they were very important to the way Kojima wanted the story told. Second, I hate swapping disks and even if the 360 version only has 2 that's only 18 gig a far cry from 50 which the PS3 uses. So there will be alot of compression. So yes, I do believe the 360 will play it but not on the level as the PS3.

No, the last cut scene is roughly 80 minutes. The first cutscene is like... 10-15. Don't complain about what you don't know.

I think there is little doubt this will be released on the 360. Konami wants to make some bucks and we all know that 360s are way more numerous at this time. I could definitely see them use the install to hard drive as someone mentioned. If they do that I will have to buy a hard drive and ghost my existing one. No way will I buy Microsofts overpriced $180 one. Maybe they will just cut down the res on the cut scenes and leave the game exactly the same.

I believe I asked how long it was that put what I heard after then looking for a correction. Jerk. I did use a question mark or say I heard... I have never played this game so yes I don't know. But I have read what people have said about it.

And in general most games cut scenes are a little long imo.

I honestly can't get enough of Cutscenes. Especially MGS Cutscenes... the series has always had far more of a theatrical feel to it then a video game feel.
