View profile »October 16, 2008 - Black Friday is that special time of year where thousands of consumers flood malls and retailers nationwide to violently trample one another in order to save some dough on everything from spatulas to toilet seat covers. But this year might be host to more hyper-aggressive customers than usual, according to a report from Gizmodo, Samsung's BD-P1500 Blu-ray player will drop in price from $400 to a staggeringly low $149.
The rumor comes via a source close to internet retailers Ultimate Electronics, but if it proves to be true we will be at the front of the pack, tackling elderly shoppers and small children out of our way in order to grab one of these babies. Ok, well maybe not, but still, sales of the Samsung BD-P1500 will undoubtedly be astronomical this November 28th.

but i guess you meant down from original player price. and I also guess most got the point. except for maybe some confused souls out there.

View profile »Maybe I'll give a review on it tomorrow, if anyone cares. No waiting in line with the old folk in Florida this Black Friday. Amazon is providing the deal now providing you sell the movies. After a simple ebay sale it will cost me $144 total, woot!
