Well I have officially purchased 37 HD DVD's in the last few weeks. Well almost a month. That's pretty crazy for a dead format! Considring I have spent roughly $5 a movie, you really can't go wrong! Tonight, I decide to watch Hot Rod over Beowulf. I'm regretting my choice, but to watch sub-par Hot Rod in HD was humourous at best. Damn, I'm an idiot. Tomorrow may be time for Beowulf! Or maybe it is time to start one of the Mission Impossible movies!

If you want to watch 1080P high definition videos for cheap, the $5 HD DVD's is great.

Unfortunately I have pretty much every HD DVD I want so it's very rare that I will see something I will want to buy even though there are a lot of movies available in the format.

Anyway this week (or next) I should be getting Indy 4 and Incredible Hulk, both on bluray. Life is good sometimes. :p

I went to three different Walmarts, and none of them had HD DVDs on sale...

I read a disclaimer yesterday. $5 HD DVD so far have only been purchased by Walmart Canada. Why, probably because Canadian have expendable income still.

LOL...what is scary is when you think you have maybe 180 or so movies and you line them all up for a count-off and realize that you have 289 different titles

For me, it is no big deal...I spend on HD-DVDs what I used to spend on cigarettes

That doesn't really add up to much when you say (in my case) "that's what I used to spend on SD DVDs..."
