Okay, it's getting difficult keeping track of who has a Funai Blu-ray Clone, so I'm going to start a list here. Discuss what comes to mind in the thread, and I'll keep adding names to this first post.

Funai Clones:
Sylvania NB500SL9 (first gen)
Sylvania NB501SL9 (first gen)
Sylvania NB530SLX (second gen) (includes optical audio out)
Magnavox NB500MG9 (first gen)
Magnavox NB500MS9 (first gen)
Magnavox NB500MGX (second gen) (includes optical audio out) (This is the one that Wal-Mart carried specifically for the Father's Day sale price of $128, but it is identical to the NB530MGX.)
Magnavox NB530MGX (second gen) (includes optical audio out)
Philips BDP7200 (first gen) (includes optical audio out AND analog 5.1) (no SD card slot)
Onkyo DV-BD606 (first gen) (includes optical audio out)
Integra DBS 6.9 (first gen) (includes optical audio out)
Denon DVD-1800BD (first gen)

Insignia NS-BRDVD (first gen) (includes optical audio out) (discontinued)

eddie, have you seen the 2.0 model yet? I went searching for it this weekend, and couldn't find it? Lots of the 1.1's and all on clearance!

i think the 2.0 model is still in the planning stages or in warehouses. everyone still has the 1.1 player, which is great for people who don't want to access internet features or as a BD player in a spare/guest room.

I think if they did a list of who's had a problem with his/her blu-ray player, we wouldn't be there Eddie...

WOW, thats a really good deal. Depending on what movie you chose, thats like less than 200.00 for the player and the movies. Looks like a Black Friday deal. Is the Sylvania a good player???

the sylvania is a funai clone. these things play everything thrown at them, and no one has gotten the "red screen of death" yet (unlike all those sammys).

Thanks posters, this is probabally one of the best deals I have seen. And it does not expire until December 31st, which means you can wait until Black Friday to see if the deals get any better.
