You think that's bad Reaggie, were I work, when they ordered my Dell the idiot IT guy we had ordered mine with only an 80gig hard drive! I told them graphics files can eat up space fast and that I'd need a minimum of 120gig HD. But no, I get the standard offce unit from Dell. Even with XP the damn thing still runs like mud. Plus, I constantly have to watch the HD space and archive files to our network, or I constantly have to run disc cleaner. It's like having a comptuer from 1993!

I think a lot of employers just order Dells because they're too lazy to research for better systems, and quite possibly, better deals. They really need to get past their thinking that Dell is the only comptuer in the world. Back in the late 90's, Dell did make a decent, stand-up machine but now they're no better than the Packard Bells we used to get back in the early 90's. When it comes to quality, they're just not the company they used to be.

Customer service Tim, customer service.

I've had my laptop at work for almost two years and it works great, one of the reasons? I don't go to those sites that you shouldn't be going to where you get all those nasty little apps...oh, and I hear you, used to live at Dallas, and yes, the 45 mile thing is nothing...

Is the boot up time for these players faster than a Toshiba HD-a3 HD-DVD player?

Tim, Has your started to freeze up then act normally right out of the blue. BTW I just had my HDD replaced four days ago, with yet another 80 gig! Has your HDD started to make the high pitch squeeling noises yet. That HDD might be ready to call it quits. That what happened to mine.

BTW Ney Guy. There is nothing woring with the Funai clones. I pulled my chasis apart to find out there is a copper chasis inside. That thing is build like a brick house. That would explain the weight eddie. There is nothing wrong with the funai players. I am however tempted to pick up the new panasonic 35 or the LG BH300.
