get five free blu-rays from sony rewards if you sign up for a credit card.

http://www.sonyrewards.com/en/gateway/?offerlink=bluray

after you get your credit card, sign up for a sony rewards account at www.sonyrewards.com. from there, you can pick five free blu-rays (except for the most-recent new releases).

Can I get five BD Bonds? (I need three more of the first six releases.)

sorry, john, the only bond listed is "casino royale". others are being distributed by mgm via their agreement with fox.

Hmmm...great idea, Sony and Visa. Entice people with free movies in exchange for yet another credit card they don't need, let alone can't use correctly. Gee, have you learned nothing from the past six weeks of financial hell?

Jason, 2 cc's is enough for me

Sorry, Eddie, I misunderstood. The five discs have to be Sony products. I see. I thought you meant you could use the Sony credit card for any releases. Oh, well....

jason,

you don't have to use the card once you get it.

in fact, you can get the movies before you even activate the card.

affirmative. the offer is associated with applying (and getting approved) for the card, NOT for using the card.

Well I'll be... Hey Tim, can you believe it?

- Eddie's shilling for SONY (the company he so proudly hates) - LOL

Now don't get mad Eddie, I'm just saying what's true here (and you know it).

Eddie I know this is not the clone thread, but let me me say when I first saw your posts on this site I thought you were resistant in everything BD. Now that the clone wars are in play I see that you embrased BD. I know you don't like the PS3 but to me it's the best player. So now the new battle will be the PS3 against the clones. In this war the clones will lose again.
