I'm down to one credit card and that's all I need. I would rather buy 5 blurays used on craigslist or ebay than sign up for another credit card.

Don't forget with most credit cards you have to pay a yearly fee on top of the interest charges incurred on your purchases.

Stay away from credit cards!

I second that motion, and besides, the five movies are nothing that will knock your socks off. Ok Casino Royal is good but other than that.

On this particular card, there is no annual fee.

Jason that just means they'll get you another way. Either higher interest (it may be a lower interest card in the beginning) or charges for cash advance, etc produce higher charges.

^ I understand that. There are intro APR's and Default APR's and the like. I just wanted to clarify that this card wasn't of the annual fee variety. It's on the bottom of the app in a handy dandy little scroll box.

Jason, positive

John, I was only kidding. I was comparing options not sales. I like the clones, in fact my plan is to buy one for the in-laws for XMAS,

you know, maybe this thread should've been called "the whiny thread".

all the "dangers" you guys mentioned arise from poor use of credit cards. this is the consumer's fault, NOT a card service's fault. the terms of use must be available to the consumer prior to his/her applying for a card, so you know what you're getting when you apply.

As I've said at least twice, Eddie. What I do fault Sony for is their 5 BD incentive to get a new card which the consumer isn't able to properly use. Not whining or anything. Statement of fact.
