Ok, for those of you that have HD Satellite you may be familiar with the free movie channels. Well, on HDNET they sometimes play movies with limited showings that will be coming to theaters later(I know, weird, huh). I watched a horror movie last night called Splinter. All I got to say is "Wow, this movie couldn't be much worse!" How do movies like this even make it to the theater?

Anyone see it?

Havne't seen that one but the warning is MUCH appreciated.

I've watched some great classic movies on HDNet though and I also like watching the Nothing but Trailers along with the HDNet Concerts which are awesome in HD with surround sound.

Overall a great channel and another winner for Mark Cuban.

Yep, some good channels there. I watch them a lot. Didn't even know what they were till I got em. Now I wouldn't want to give them up. One thing I noticed though is they changed the music channel to something else now.

I watched this flick last night. Unfortunately it was kind of a crummy ripoff of John Carpenter's: The Thing. Shaky-ass camera...I hate that! It had potential in the beginning, but it just crapped out towards the end.

SPOILER ALERT:

Good scene in the freezer with the arm and razor blade knife, though.

Was I the only one who thought about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with the thread's title??

Yes, I actually thought of that when I typed it. However, this movie named Splinter made the TMNTs movies look like oscar worthy productions.

A low-budget horror film that isn't any good? What's the world coming to?
