The pack will be available this November, and will run gamers $100. Included in the pack will be a 60 GB hard drive, headset, ethernet cables, and a 3 month subscription to Xbox Live. This helps to give a middle ground between the $149.99 120 GB hard drive and the $49.99 521 MB memory card.

Read more about it here.

That's $100 for the 60GB HDD folks! As much as that is STILL overpriced, it's a step in the right direction from Microsoft. I think it's really gonna boost the sales of Xbox 360's this holiday season.

No HDMI? I wanted to have that as my Windows Extender to my HDTV...

No HDMI cables included... but i'm pretty sure ALL 360's have an HDMI port though. And you can grab a 6' HDMI cable online for $5 these days.

Well I am on to my 24th game (gamefly) and I have a 20 gig hard drive and still more than 2/3's of the after formated space left. I have not erased any of my games saves or downloaded content either.

I'm looking into making my own large hard drive by ghosting the original drive onto a bigger one. Much cheaper. I'm not sure but I think Invisiblebiker said thats all you need to do. However, I need to find a cheap copy of Norton Ghost.

That will invalidate your warrenty though Wolvie! If you get the RRoD, you have to buy a new 360! I just wish MS would go ahead with the idea of external USB storage like the PS3. I have an 80GB PS3 and the 120GB Xbox 360 Elite(?) and I don't forsee EVER using up all that space on either console. I can't even fill a 2GB SD card for my Wii! But I guess it would be nice to have the option for external storage.

The XBOX website says that the Arcade has HDMI output (cable sold separately, of course)...

One hundred dollars doesn't seem like a bad deal for this. I mean... a 60 gig HDD, 3 months of Xbox live (which normally costs 30 dollars) A headset (15/20 dollars), and... well... screw the Ethernet. So a HardDrive, Live, and a Headset. For 100 dollars... Not bad.

Spoonard. That really only invalidates the warranty on the HDD. When you RROD you only send in the console itself and keep the HDD at home.
