Yo what's up guys! I've been having this problem for a while and can't seem to fix it. I got the Hulk on and tried to play it on my HP Elite computer and the audio keeps dropping out. I have a lg ggc-h20L drive attached to the computer. I went to the settings menu and configured the audio to 2.0 and still nothing. So I popped it in my samsung bdp-1500 and instead of audio drop outs, my audio became muffled.

I know Universal made their discs on the highest audio setting and maybe that could be my problems since I don't have a surround sound. But they wouldn't add the option for 2.0. Another thing is that I popped in the Strangers on my player and that played flawlessly. Hmmm...if anyone has any suggestions let me know. Oh yea one last thing, how the hell do you get rid of that "bonus view" grey button when watching the Hulk?

Thanks!

I had a similar experience in a couple parts of The Hulk: very short audio drop outs leaving only a muffled sub woffer signal. The sound would return once the scene transitioned. This has never happened on with any other disk, BD or otherwise.

I watched it on Sunday, and I didn't notice anything. I had the sound pumped up loud, and it sounded terrific.

interplanetaryspy,

do you have a samsung 1500? Well when played back on my 1500 the bonus view box on the top left corner is bugging me and i'm not too sure on how to get rid of it. I still don't have the audio working correctly. Kinda sucks watchin the hulk using the digital copy version

I've seen it a couple times now and have had no issues. I did think there could be something wrong in that fight at the end of the movie. At one point, Hulk says, "HULK SMASH!" and I thought that might be a sound issue because I've never known the Hulk to speak. Yeah, he growls, grunts and screams like he's pinching a loaf, but I've never known him to talk.

The Hulk has very intense bass response. Maybe it's causing something in your sytem to strain a bit? But i dunno, because you didn't mention where in the movie these dropouts occure? I have had no such problem with my copy on the PS3. So i question whether or not it is the disc itself, i doubt it though. As far as the bonus view, i thought you toggled that on and off in the menu.

The audio drops in and out throught the whole film. It kinda sounds like the audio tracks skipping. I returned the disc twice and it's still the same. I think it might be an audio issue because this happened before when I had my lg bh100. I'm not too sure if I need a better sound system or what but it kinda blows without good audio.

I switched the bonus view off but the little grey square is still there. I'll figure that out later, i just want to hear some nice audio from this movie.

oh..it's got it!!! if you are a fan of BASS...look no further.lol. still, you shouldnt be having these dropouts. the dts-hd master audio SHOULD be being downconverted to dts. i'm sure that you are already aware that this codec is bit for bit identical to the original master...which may be causing problems in your system with the downconversion part. does the espanol dts 5.1 or the english dd 2.0 codecs have these dropouts?

bladerunner,

Thanks for the info. I thought the sound would get downgraded but I don't know why I'm getting these drop outs. All the languages have the same problem. The only one that really works is the audio with the commentary. I might go back and get another disc. Til then, I'll keep tryin cuz I wanna hear that BASS!
