Does Wall-E really need to be on 3 Blu-Ray discs?? What possibly could they fill 150GB with? Is it maybe they want the Blu buyers out there to feel like they are getting the same amount of content as a SD DVD Wall-E set? I mean if a regular dude (we don't count as regular people guys, sorry!) goes into Wal*Mart and compares the SD version with the BD version and sees that the SD version comes with the 3 discs and the BD version only comes with the 1 disc... see what i'm saying? None of us would fall that but regular people... IS that what's going on, or do they REALLY fill up 3 Blu-Ray discs with full HD content?

spoonard,

I see what you're saying.

IMHO, for the most part, extras are a silly waste of time. Why sit and watch extra content/tidbits that collectively last more than the actual film?

I could be mistaken-haven't done the research on Wall E yet-but isn't one disc a digital copy of the movie?

Jason, I dunno

Yes, one disc is the now infamous 'digital copy', and yes I agree with you about Average Joe thinking he is getting screwed with only one disc instead of three...

Very interesting theory fellas. But, are we complaining about this? I'll take as many discs as they want to give, as long as it doesn't make the price go up. More space means less compression, better audio, and extras (for those who care), in high def.

It's sort of a complaint and sorta me just wondering. A three disc set would definatly drive up the cost of a Blu-Ray set, not so much with a SD DVD set.

A 2-discer and a 3-discer.

an extra disc for a digital copy is such a waste and an environmental drag. not everyone uses the bloody things, and the studios could easily set up servers for downloads. you gotta connect to the internet to use the code anyway!

yea 3 discs

disc 1 movie and features
disc 2 more extras
disc 3 digital copy

I agree the more discs the better. I'm coo with that. At first I didn't care too much about digital copies, but if you have an iPod then it's pretty cool to have a portible copy as you go. And if you don't you can always sell it on ebay. hah!
