OK, here is my first 'triple dip' dilemma:

-I'm thinking of getting Hellboy on blu-ray...I already have the first edition, as well as the Director's Cut (which is the best), but with the release of Hellboy II, I'm thinking of getting it on blu-ray as well...it's $15 on Amazon and Walmart...

-Something similar might end up happening with X-Files:Fight the Future (I like the movie regardless of it featuring my beloved Dallas, TX)...I have the original release (Walmart's old $5.50 bin, I think), as well as having it on my dad's complete collection set, but when I Want To Believe is released, I might feel tempted to buy both...

I've triple dipped before getting movies on VHS, DVD and then HD DVD or BLU RAY. So, I feel your pain, lol. Just recently I ordered Waterworld on Extended dvd and I have the original VHS, DVD and HD DVD already. That's a quaddripple dipping, hahaha.

MV, I think the TRIPLE DIP is something you cannot get around. As for the X Files, if you can wait until January, they are releasing both movies on Blu Ray in a combo pack.

IB, I will wait for the X-Files...

Wolv, you are still missing the inevitable (yet extra features-less) blu-ray release... ...by the way, does Waterworld's the extended cut drag?

I can see why you might think that Spoonard. Actually I find that movie very entertaining. Best Post Apocalyptic movie IMO. With an added 45 minutes they suckered me back in. I havn't received it in the mail yet so I cannot give an opinion on added material yet. For 10 and some change I thought it was a good deal to get the extended.

I have two copies of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. The Criterion DVD, and the HD-DVD. I know that when Criterion puts it on on Blu-Ray I'll be swooping down like a f ucking hawk and snatching it up. I also know that I'll be buying all three Watchmen Releases. The Blu-Ray, the Animated DVD/Blu-Ray, and the Movie/DRDVD cut together Blu-Ray.

I also have two copies of Sin City. The regular DVD and the Uncut DVD. When it comes out on Blu-Ray i'll be picking it up again.

Star Wars original trilogy for me.

1. The original on VHS.
2. The Special Edition on VHS
3. The Special Edition on DVD.

Like the nutjob that I am I'll probably get them on bluray also so that'll make 4. If that doesn't make me therapy material I don't know what does.

Got all those too Falcon. I just cant learn to stop spending on these kinds of things. I'll just have to avoid the star wars Blu Rays. They are such high quality dvds that it wont be a huge upgrade to BD.
