Finally saw "Q of S" this morning. Yeah, it's an action/revenge flick first and foremost. It's not the stylish, sophisticated Bond film of yore. That's OK. There's room for a lot of different interpretations, and this Bond (Craig) will be around for a while. The new movie ties up the loose ends of the previous movie and points to a future of battling with the world-wide criminal organization Quantum (the substitute for SPECTRE, I assume). There will be plenty of time for Bond to settle down into his supercool persona. 7/10

I love pissing all over movies like "The Shining" and watching Chris get all pissed at me about it.

I don't get pissed, I just pity you.

Speed Racer is underrated, Hellboy 2 is underrated...and this is hated because it looks and 'feels' similar to Bourne? Give me a break people! I feel like you are going all KOTCS with this too...I mean, for many of the reasons you didn't like QoS, you liked TDK...GO FIGURE...

I didn't like QOS or TDK or Hellboy 2. Do I win a prize?

Chris,

You and Eddie will get your "Bah, Humbug" awards at Christmas. Unless the Hollywood Spirits visit you on Christmas Eve.

Sorry 007 fans but the heavy handed choppy editing in this movie is a disaster! A chopped up car chase where you can't see what is happening, a foot chase accross some rooftops where you can hardly tell who is chasing whom, and needless cuts in the "conversation" scenes for what.. to speed up the pace? Add drama? This style of editing is intrusive to a movie. At the theatre, I became annoyed by all of the bad "cuts" the editor was making and I landed up counting the seconds between edits, not watching the scene at all! I agree with a previous post..bring back the editor of Casino Royale!!
