ALOT. so what? it is just my opinion on a message board. why get all up in arms over somebody defending their machine? it gets blasted on here plenty. like i said in the post, if people want a standalone...COOL. if the funai's are the machine to bring br to the masses...COOL. if people are interested in a ps3 that don't post here, but read them, then i am going to recommend what i like...COOL?

View profile »Hey Tony... yeah, if I'm successful next Friday in acquiring this player, THE FIRST DISCS I plan on putting in are the infamous "Fantastic Four" movies from Fox - if those load and play OK on this player, then we know that Funai has made a consumer-friendly player. It even took a firmware update for the PS3 to play them perfectly a year ago.
