There is the article with my thoughts in the comment section. Again, my question is why do we need a standard at the home video level? The standards need to be applied at the photography level as in when the movie is being filmed. After mastering takes place what does it matter?

I wonder how current plasmas and LCD's would handle 3-D movies. Also I'm assuming this would take up more space on a disc?

As long as you don't have to wear some corny glasses like the ones below I'm all for it.

I still have a set of four glasses from that Brendan Fraser movie I saw with the kids. I'm tempted to get the bugs in space movie "flys in space", can't think of the title whatever. It would look cool in HD 3-D.

Reaggie... I believe those particular 3-D glasses that Warner enclosed with 'Journey/Earth' don't work the same as the red/blue 3-D glasses, say, for others (The Polar Express?), as the 'Journey' pair is not red/blue. I don't know the reasoning behind it, but Warner has stated to use only the supplied glasses for each release with -that- movie (and not others). It's weird for sure, but...

I don't know about that. Theory. The back of Polar express, and Journey they both had the same foggy lenses. The same color tone of lens that my theatre glasses had. Regardless you still get four new pair with the movie when you puchase. I'm still inclined to keep what I have. I alsready have Polar on HD DVD, and that is good enoughf or me. The kids didn't like the story enough, to warrant buying yet another edition of the movie.

You know, I thought about it yesterday, of all the people that are now triple dipping on titles, between DVD, HD DVD, and Blu. All I have to say is "You are out of Minds..."
