It was like an OK movie until the girl.... well you know... at about 35 minutes into it. Then OMG, what a mess of an unbelievable piece of crap until the end. How could they even let this go. Even the poorest least experienced and most stoned Indie "artists" wouldn't let that "fly". (Pun intended.)

Yeah, I heard it was bad... I just thought they were a little hard on it. Like they were on movies like Transformers for example. But even that was 10 times the movie this was.

Thanks for the heads up. I had my hands on the BR tonight and was like "eh'" and bought A Clockwork Orange for $15 bucks instead...btw..what critics were "harsh" on Transformers? I seem to remember this movie getting good reviews, for being a FUN summer flick. The "fans" of the original cartoon/comic were the ones that cried.

RT gave it 57%, which on RT is considered rotten.

I was bored with the movie even before it really fell apart.

Rectum gag seriously?

CGI looked dated, especially the train sequence.

What made the prisoners think they could stop Hancock? I mean, they had no knowledge of his weakness, for all they knew he had all his powers. Convenient isn't it?

Well we got it from NetFlix on Blu-Ray so... I'm gonna haul my PS3 out to the living room and watch it with my parents. And why not?

We noticed at 1:12:50 into the movie there was a very tall machine looking guy during the storm downtown. Does anyone know what that was about?

I watched it on Thanksgiving at my friends house. Now I see what all the "hate" fuss is about. Let's face it, this movie just steals ideas that have already been done. Man of steel -- we have that already, it's called Superman. The public seems to hate him and even threaten law suits -- same idea from "The Incredibles". And don't call him an asshole -- gee, don't make me angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry . . . sound familiar? That black leather super suit he wore in the last half of the movie . . . can anyone say "X-Men"?

The biggest problem is the character itself is unlikeable. IMO, the guy was a pathetic, low-life bum that really made me feel no reason to connect with him. He was an unfriendly, unsociable drunk that I was not about to sympathies with. Not to mention, some of the CGI was awful. The first scene where he's flying through the air accompanied by a RAP soundtrack was atrocious -- I haven't quite seen effects that bad since the old Superman movies.

Forget about the plot because that was such a mess within itself that it would take a team of rocket scientists to dissect it over the next ten-years to figure it out. The entire theme of the film could never seem to find a place to call home. One minute it seems serious, another minute is plays like a black comedy and then the next minute it goes cornball over-the-top silly. It's like the movie itself could not figure out what to be. Chaos can work in a movie but it needs to be controlled, and that's the problem with this movie as it seems like nobody is behind the wheel.

Wow it's THAT bad. I heard it sucked but wow. I'll still rent it just to see the trainwreck but it's no longer on the top of my list.

It's one of those movies that's so bad you have to see it for yourself just to see how bad it is. I found imbibing alcohol during the movie helps, but the buzz still never covers the trainwreck it is. I can only hope that in the near future film classes across the US will use Hancock as an example of what NOT to do.

I could have saved ya'll two hours of your life and countless brain cells. I called Hancock being a turkey back in the summer and no one paid attention, save one guy over at AVS who said I was the worst critic out there.

My initial reaction to "So we watched the Hancock movie"?

I'm terribly sorry.
