Happy Thanksgiving everyone, in a time where the economy is in shambles and the world is not safe even for civilian tourist, I am thankful for what health I have, a roof over my head, food in my stomach, clothing on my back. As I reflect on the many blessings that I do have I am constantly thinking of people who are less fortunate. So give thanks to GOD for what we have and pray for those whom lost their home, job, or maybe lost someone fighting for others who don't have the freedoms we sometimes take for granted.

Great post Tony (and I know you're also thankful for that new HDTV!)

And I would like to thank the other fellow staff members here on DVDTOWN, especially those that have worked more with me more on advice/suggestions, etc, such as Henning, John J Puccio, and Jason. Also, a thanks to hoodaguy (Tom) who pointed me to (free) online image-resize sites.

Of course, I'm thankful that we even have a great movie site like DVDTOWN.com - an excellent resource for Disc Reviews, Theatrical Reviews, Industry News (Articles and Data), "My Town" Personal Collection database, and more! Now going strong for over 10 years...

great post tony!

there is really not too many "materialistic" things to be thankfull for this season from this camp because the greed that permiates big corporation has destroyed many of my beliefs of what america should be. regardless of this little bump in the road, i find myself focusing more on the truly important things such as family and god. and i'm good.

Great post Tony (and I know you're also thankful for that new HDTV!) -Jimi

Thanks Fellas and I hope that you guys had a great Thanksgiving.

Well the wife said somethings to me that made sense so I reconsidered buying the new TV, and the fact that Mitsubishi has extended my warranty (replacement bulbs, heat sensor, and color wheel only) for a futher 2 1/2 years for free. So I think I'll use that money to help out my brother, he really needs it.

That's a good example of self-sacrifice, Tony (and the right thing)...
