Is it me or did Sony just simply DROPPED THE BALL & neglected to market the PS3 this holiday season. I don't see much of any GOOD OFFERS for the system, besides a bundled ONE GAME from Best Buy.

It's not exactly crying out that it "can sell itself" in this trying times. It ain't WII, & it ain't Iphone.
I mean really, even XBOX 360 is SOLD OUT at home depot... I'm even surprised home depot sells console systems!

That's because SONY is trying to make a recover from taking huge losses from back when the system was launched. They really can't afford to drop prices on systems right now. They just got to the point of where they can sell a system at cost and not take furthur losses. They are hoping sales from software exclusives like Resistance 2 and Little Big Planet will help them on the software side with consumers that already own the system and maybe spur hardware sales as well. But the bottom line is don't expect SONY to drop prices on PS3 til maybe Feb or March next year and that's a stretch.

I see the 160GB PS3 is on sale now at futureshop.ca for $519.99 which comes with the Uncharted - Drake's Fortune game and a voucher to download a game called Pain.

Not bad.

^yea Falcon but for $450 you can buy an 80 gig and a 160 gig HDD. You know Uncharted: Drake Fortune is a excellent game. Can't wait for part 2. Falcon, if you get a chance to get you're hands on Uncharted you will not be disappointed. It is the best game on the PS3 that I've played, Enemy Territory is a close second. Also if you like online FPS like Socom you should get Enemy Territory:Quake Wars, I am a video game forum member at a site and they rave how ET:QW is so much better than any FPS online including Halo 3. After playing the demo I became instantly addicted and I agree.
