It's time to vent! :@
Have you gone to see bad movies? How about bad theaters or bad behavior?

The Ice Pirates was featured on the front page of "DVDTown".
This was one of only two movies I ever walked out on. The other was "Entity".
It was a long time ago, but I remember it was terrible!

I don't think this can be dubbed as "political", but way to go mra!! Finally, something we can all complain about and get behind as a group!

There's only one thing I hate more than talking youngsters or people on a cellphone. I just don't understand whenever I see an R rated film, someone has to bring in an infant. A constantly crying infant has no reason to be in an R rated movie, it's not like they're actually watching the movie. Some people need to learn what a babysitter is for.

Exactly Brandon! You nailed that one. That is just not wrong, but annoying. I mean... fine bring your infant, some people just can't find baby-sitters or afford the extra money, and when when having kids... TRUST ME, you need to get out of the house no matter what! But people should take their infants when their ready to be fed, that way their feeding during the movie and then fall right to sleep. ;)

While watching "Jurassic Park", all of a sudden, all these little kids went running up the isles to the exits. It was kind of funny really. But then there were the parents complaining about it on TV. Well, it was rated PG-13!:(
One time there was a faulty projector for the first half of the film. There would be a "thunk" and part of the movie was below the screen.
Also, at the midnight "Fellowship of the Ring" opening, there must have been 20 minutes of trailers.

Wow, so many great stories!!

Worst movies I've seen in the theatres:
To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar
Mad Max 3: Beyond Thunderdome
Little Women (although going with my girlfriend helped me "get some"8))

Worst experiences:
Fear...it was like an audience participation night, people felt the need to yell at the screen when something happened.

Lord of the Rings: FOTR...a row of kids in front of us, all speaking in Spanish in loud voices....FOR 3 HOURS

The Last Samurai...Two guys behind us...one translating the movie to the other in Spanish!!! WHAT THE F***!??!! I told them both what I thought they should do!

Romeo Must Die...people expressing their dissapointment when DMX's character died...rather harshly. I felt like saying, "It's just a movie, he was just following the script, he's really OK!"

The Haunting...two kids arguing and slapping each other and yelling a few seats over. My girlfriend at the time (fiery Ecuadorian chic) MADE them shut up! Funny stuff.

Blade II...imagine going to a movie at 11 or so PM, and it being a very loud, action packed flic, and these 16-18 yr old girls....bring their frickin BABIES....AND THEY CRY FOR 45 MIN!!!!!

...and the worst one ever.....

TITANIC....urine was rolling down the floor under our seats, someone behind us apparantly didn't want to leave the theater to use the rest room. IT SMELLED HORRIBLE!!!

ENJOY!!!

In most theaters I have been to, they run a quick courtesy ad just before the movie starts. It addresses talking, and turning off pagers and cell phones.

Italy12,

Urine? Wow. I thought I had seen some pretty bad stuff. I always make sure to go to the restroom like 5 minutes before the movie starts that way I don't have to worry about that happening. The problem is that some of these movies are so frickin long that your bladder gets filled up about half way through the movie. In no way am I condoning what you witnessed. That's just ridiculous. I saw Schindler's List and had to go to the bathroom real bad but I kept telling myself 'It's gonna end any minute now.' When it didn't, I had to get up and relieve myself.
