Ever since the relatively lacking 2 disc edition of this film was released, its been rumored that the studio was waiting to cash in on a held-off superior release somewhere down the line.

Anyone know if there's an ounce of truth to this? I've been holding out on buying a copy, as I didn't want to have to re-purchase, but I'm getting impatient.

I don't know anything specific about that, but what I DO know is that if these studios keep releasing 3 disc 'special editions' when they can fit all that on to a SINGLE Blu-Ray disc i'm gonna start punching babies!

I think what we all want are extras that are worth watching, and that (IMO) mostly show how the movie was made, how it came to be what it is.

I'm waiting for the eventual double-dip of No Country For Old Men...
