Ok so work has slowed to a crawl today and I'm checking out home theatre Projectors to see which is the best bang for buck 1080P projector and it made me start building a whole new home theatre system.

This made me wonder, what would YOUR dream home theatre be? Aside from that ridiculous $6 million home theatre. Something realistic that you could have in your basement or apt.

Mine at the moment would be...

Panasonic PT-AE3000 Projector
Yamaha 7.1 Channel HDMI 1080P Receiver (HTR6290B)
Paradigm Monitor 11's on the front, matching center (CC 290 or CC 390), matching surrounds (ADP-390)
100+ foot Stewart screen, don't know which in specific but I know they have some very good screens.
Panasonic BD55 bluray player

I guess that's it. It's not not ridiculously over the top but it's almost realistic.

Well, bringing up tech talk isn't very exciting, either. Why can't we ever talk about chicks, booze or cow tipping?

Or cruising the 4-H babes!!!

Falcon I have the Panasonic 2000 model and I'm very happy with it so far. I can only imagine the upgrades in the 3000.

Well the 100 plus screen is a bit much for me, youngest bro just bought a sammy 67" 1080p LCD for 500 bucks. He asked me to drop over without telling me and as soon as I walked in his house it hit me slam in the face.

Falcon, he wants the Bruce Lee set that you sent me in the mail. I told him "HELL NA, A good on-line friend sent me that and it will never leave my grasp."

Haha. Tony if I didn't have an extra copy of the set there's no way I'd be letting go of mine either. Glad I could help out a fellow Bruce Lee fan.

As far as the screen size, yeah 67" is still pretty massive. I guess it's all relative to room dimentions and size. I saw a 100' screen in a basement and I was completely floored at how beautiful the image was. Since then that's all I've been dreaming about. :p

One time I got drunk with some chicks and went cow tipping. The previous statement is 100% untrue. I don't drink, the only "chick" i'm allowed to talk to is my wife, and cows don't really accept tips.
