This made me wonder, what would YOUR dream home theatre be? Aside from that ridiculous $6 million home theatre. Something realistic that you could have in your basement or apt.
Mine at the moment would be...
Panasonic PT-AE3000 Projector
Yamaha 7.1 Channel HDMI 1080P Receiver (HTR6290B)
Paradigm Monitor 11's on the front, matching center (CC 290 or CC 390), matching surrounds (ADP-390)
100+ foot Stewart screen, don't know which in specific but I know they have some very good screens.
Panasonic BD55 bluray player
I guess that's it. It's not not ridiculously over the top but it's almost realistic.

View profile »Falcon I have the Panasonic 2000 model and I'm very happy with it so far. I can only imagine the upgrades in the 3000.

Well the 100 plus screen is a bit much for me, youngest bro just bought a sammy 67" 1080p LCD for 500 bucks. He asked me to drop over without telling me and as soon as I walked in his house it hit me slam in the face.
Falcon, he wants the Bruce Lee set that you sent me in the mail. I told him "HELL NA, A good on-line friend sent me that and it will never leave my grasp."

As far as the screen size, yeah 67" is still pretty massive. I guess it's all relative to room dimentions and size. I saw a 100' screen in a basement and I was completely floored at how beautiful the image was. Since then that's all I've been dreaming about. :p

One time I got drunk with some chicks and went cow tipping. The previous statement is 100% untrue. I don't drink, the only "chick" i'm allowed to talk to is my wife, and cows don't really accept tips.
