I know! 2 MILLION Wii's! IN ONE MONTH!!! That's friggen insane!! That's 3 years running with the Wii in 1st place sales wise over the PS3 and Xbox 360. People say it's still to early to call the console race, but I think this makes it pretty clear. At least to me anyway. I'm glad I have a PSWii60 in my house.

Not to shoot the messenger, I seriously thought you were talking about the unemployment figure for November. Now that is a record high for the last 26 years.

With 2 million Wii's sold at $250/unit, Nintendo made in one month enough money to give everyone in the USA $1 and then still have a good amount left for themselves.

Perhaps we should hire the nintendo execs and Mr. Miyamoto to run the auto industry. Personally I think a motion controlled car would be fun. Might get testy though when people are brushing their hair and their cars accidentally sail off of the road.

Proves you that when you design a product that you like and enjoy, and market it correctly, will be a hit...

The Wii is just too casual for either the 360 or PS3 to ever compete with.

Its amazing because the system itself is pretty much living off of first party products alone.

More talk on the lack of PS3 sales.

The lack of PS3 sales is disheartening to say the least. It dropped from last years Nov. sales and has not had a strong showing since Xbox dropped thier prices. Sony has said something about looking at dropping unprofitable endeavors throughout thier company to try and save 1 billion in 2009. Is this the PS3?? It is only two years old and has not made the impact expected. Maybe stop production now, save money and start working on a PS4 that can be made cheap and sold in the $249 area to try and match Wii's success??

PSWii60 here. I own all three consoles. Here are their uses:

PS3: Blu-Ray player
Xbox 360: Video Games/Movie Player
Wii: Dust Collector

I finally came to the conclusion that I am in love with the IDEA of the Wii much more so than the console itself. As I've said before, if Nintendo can match the hardware of the other consoles with their NEXT console and keep the motion sensitive controls of the Wii, they will win again.

Spoonard, they will...and I'm not in the majority, but I'll take Mario Kart any day instead of any bloody game...
