Very impressive numbers indeed. If a movie has "man" at the end of its title it seems guaranteed to sell. Glad to see a great movie get critical acclaim (for the most part) and get some substantial sells.

1.7 million sounds impressive .....until you read the part about it being worldwide and including rental sales . So actually it might be around 1 million (the projected mark) for the US cause it is the biggest market and the DVD counterpart has exploded in sales as well so no actual gain for Blu.

This is the first Dolby TrueHD soundtrack that matches IMO LPCM.

Yeah, forgot that the latest one didn't have "man" in the title. Heh heh. Here is a tentative list: (feel free to add any that I forget)

iron man
spiderman
batman begins
x-men (man being plural)
x-men 2 and 3
superman
wonder woman (you know its coming soon)
hulk man (o.k. I made it up)
captain america man (made up too)
the avenger men (ditto)
watchmen
300 men
whew ... any more comic book heroes that I forgot?

1.7 million copies is once again "peanuts". LAME!

..i mean, what did the sd do? (15 million? guess)
