A must buy, specially since Reloaded and Revolution are really bad...

I would double dip if they removed that green tint from the original.

People talk about edge enhancement & artifacts, but wow that added tint on the first movie was an eyesore.

i agree with depression about the green tint. i understand the reasons for doing it, but they made the movie too green.

this is probably the exact same pressing as disc 1 in the box set.

I'm just trying to figure out... why all the hate for the second two films... I personally love all three films and think they're great. Sure they aren't as good as the first but I still think they're awesome.

why do people generally dislike "reloaded" and "revolutions"? hmm. the titles of the films are lame. the way zion was portrayed wasn't what we expected, kinda like vader's origin. (biggest mistake imo.).uhhhh. the acting sucked....uhm lets see here...we never got to see trinity's "assets"! (thats gotta be it!)

other than these things, i rather enjoyed the sequels myself!

(BUT! i will not be buying these again. the hd-dvd's will suffice.)

The Empire Strikes Back is the best sequel ever, don't even dare to compare it to Matrix, at all.

But yeah, Reloaded and Revolutions were just a big letdown the Wachowski Brothers couldn't surpass Matrix...which is works great as a stand alone like Star Wars (Episode IV:A New Hope).

The Star Wars movie titles are pretty lame.

It's just that our fondness and their classic status cloud our judgement sometimes.

Reloaded wasn't THAT bad, but the rave and the burly brawl were quite lame. I remember seeing the burly brawl in theater thinking those effects looked horrible. Rubber Neo looks worse than ever in high definition form combined with today's standards. The chase sequence saves it for me.

Revolutions was a generic action movie with The Matrix brand name. The Dragonball Z aerial fight, really? Mr. Smith had become a complete overacting caricature of himself. And why the hell was Zion building exo skeleton suits that shoot bullets rather than investing in an EMP defensive system? Thats right, if they did, we wouldn't have the huge battle sequence at the end where Neo's lackey gets to be the hero and Link's wife gets to shoot rockets!

I'm not comparing the movies... just the names.

I kinda liked Reloaded actually.

But boy did I hate Matrix Revolutions. Third time is not a charm for movie sequels.
