Mine is making of featurettes. Commentaries are a close second, but they have to be done well. What's yours? Explain why.

i like commentaries best. featurettes second. deleted scenes third. screenplays fourth, and animatics, posters, gallaries, multi-angle stuff, "follow the white rabbit"/"infinifilm"/"watch the film, and click on the button for stuff" least.

I love deleted scenes. It's fun being able to see deleted scenes from some of the movies I saw as a kid. I also like audition tapes. When it comes right down to it I like any kind of raw footage. I also like featurettes. I like other special features too but these are my favorites.

Featurettes. I love seeing how nothing is turned into something. Whether it be concept to creation, or insight from the creators (writers of novel/comic for example) discuss their works being turned into a movie.

Trivia Tracks, such as the one on "Pulp Fiction", or "Legally Blonde"; then commentaries

I usually like commentaries by screenwriters. they usually get so little attention, and their work is often re-written, edited without their approval. they get so little respect. so, in the commentaries, it's fun to hear them talk about their experiences in screenwriting. Example, I liked the writer commentary in Tears of the Sun more than the director's commentary.

1. Featurettes/Documentaries
2. Commentaries
3. Trivia Tracks (Pulp Fiction & Seinfeld)
Deleted scenes are generally deleted for a reason, so I couldn't care less about them for the most part. The only exception I would say it the "Damoe" deleted scene on the Kill Bill Vol. 2 DVD. Very cool scene, though I can see why Q lost it.
