As we prepare oursleves to ring out 2008, I just want to be the first to wish everyone here a very safe and Happy New Year. I do not know how bad anybody that visits this great site has had it this year. If you did I truely hope that 2009 is a year where your luck returns and you can look back at 2008 like it was never there. If you were fortunate enough to have a good 2008, I hope that continues for you into the new year. Again to you and your families, Happy New Year.

Happy New Year to all!

We had a wine and movie night with the neighbors watching "Hancock" and "Eagle Eye." Between the two, I never saw so many car wrecks in my life! And Charlize Theron...gulp!!

Drudge is reporting that 2008 was the worst year in history for folks under 70. (I don't know why that is the cut off age, but it is nice to see that I'm still below something.) Fox is reporting that the biggest selling "fun" gift items this season were "old fashioned coin banks."

Again, my wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous year to come for all.
