One interesting New Year's resolution I've heard discussed on morning drive radio today. Resolving to watch and return any dvds that aren't yours. How many DVDs do you have that have been borrowed from a friend or relative that are sitting collecting dust on your shelf? I usually am pretty good about returning stuff I borrowed but have alot of stuff 'loaned' out that I will probably never see again

One example I remember buying one of Star Wars prequels, my cousin borrowed it before I had a chance to see it, and he had it for about 6 months (never watched it) and I finally had to demand he return it so I could watch it. Got it back, still in its shrinkwrap!

Mmmmm...zero. My movies don't leave the house unless I take them somewhere. And I don't borrow any, either. I never know when we'll get to them.

I'll echo Jason's statement above. NO ONE touches ANY of my DVDs, BDs or HD DVDs.

I don't feel the need to borrow either.

Wolfen, I gotta admit your emphasis made me think of something. I am so anally retentive about the discs I have that my heart stops beating a bit when the BF grabs something to watch. He pulled out a Walt Disney Treasure and my heart starting skipping beats. I have to learn to not worry so much, I guess.

I admit it, Jason...

Fingerprints, scratches or smudges are grounds for verbal abuse or a thorough butt kicking.

Man...I need help.

Jason, don't you just love it when people take things out of context

Wow, well I don't know how big your collections are, mine is pretty small, 125 maybe 150 titles so far but seems like I always have something out on loan. Maybe I will start charging!

Steveo...

554 according to the DVDAf count. They're also listed here under My Town.
