I don't know about the rest of you, but so far the new releases coming out this month (and recently released) are going to drain me both menatlly and financially! There are too many "must have's"!!
Hero 11/30/04
Spiderman 2 11/30/04
Bourne Supremacy 12/07/04
LOTR ROTK EE 12/14/04
Top Gun SE 12/14/04
I-Robot 12/14/04
Napoleon Dynamite 12/21/04
Garden State 12/28/04
And it doesn't stop there! Then right afterward in January:
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind 01/04/05
The Village 01/11/05
At this rate, DVD Town is going to start having "me" send them movies to review! ;)

Oh, great! I forgot about "Sky Captain"! Well... I'll be a "starving student" soon, and won't be able to afford DVD's for a few years. THAT'LL TEACH 'EM!! :D

True about no plot and at least wooden acting. Ah, but those special effects. They're worth it.

Well, to be completely honest, I still haven't gotten around to seeing "Sky Captain". It's still at the dollar theaters here, so one of these days I'm planning on seeing it there. From what my friends have told me, I'll probably still want to purchase it.

I am going to buy Return of the King Gift Edition, IRobot, Quantum Leap season 2, Collateral, and Battlefield Middle Earth all tomorrow. Best Buy loves me. I won't be buying any new movies untill Ivanhoe in Jan. Garden State comes out 12/28/04? I might be breaking my own rules.

I haven't bought any DVD's from Best Buy. I've been finding that "Circuit City" has some great deals on DVD's. Spidey 2 was $14.99. I used to buy at Mediaplay only, mainly because I have a membership in the "Replay" system that gave me discount certificates in the mail... however in doing the math, the cost of the membership minus the discount on DVD's, it wound up being more expensive than at Circuit City.

I use Best Buy because I have a rewards zone card and I can alwayse get a price match on Circuit City prices. I also go there because of their product replacement plans which can be a good investment. Circuit City does have some dvds that Best Buy doesn't have so I do like going thereon a mounthly basis. I have to stop buying so many dvds though, my college budget can't take it any more. If I want to get into the Universitty of Chicago I'll need to stop. Boo education budgets.
