i just heard that the bond people are going with a new direction to placate chris. the next movie's opening sequence will be a long take, with a camera that doesn't move, of daniel craig taking a nap for ten minutes. bond's kitty cat jumps on the bed, which awakens bond. bond stands up, yawns, stretches, scratches his butt, and goes to the kitchen to make some coffee.
we then see the famous "gun barrel" intro, followed by the credits. however, this time, the credits are silent. no music, no dialogue, nothing--just absolute silence to go with the visuals.
Well, at least it would be the first time Chris would actually like a Bond movie!

I liked how they made the newer Craig films shorter, more concise. It's a quick bang to whet your appetite and then it goes into the obligatory title sequence which a Bond movie should never be without.
I personally enjoyed Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace very much. I'm excited to see where they take the continuing movies and how they'e going to expand on the new "SPECTRE-like" villian. I'm also curious about if and when they decide to go with a new "Moneypenny" and/or "Q" character.

View profile »The best analogy for Casino and Quantum is Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2. You get the story in one chapter, and all the action in the other.
Quantum is a fantastic nonstop action movie from beginning to end. If you watch Casino and Quantum like you would Kill Bill 1 & 2, then you have a 4 hour epic fun ride that is very hard to beat.
Must see Casino before Quantum, but if you do you'll love this pair of movies.
