also like the opera scene. car chase was cool, coud have been more clear, but good.

i like how it continued. wasent the best story, but good enough. the third could def. make this one better if they choose to.

Quote:tim,

i just heard that the bond people are going with a new direction to placate chris. the next movie's opening sequence will be a long take, with a camera that doesn't move, of daniel craig taking a nap for ten minutes. bond's kitty cat jumps on the bed, which awakens bond. bond stands up, yawns, stretches, scratches his butt, and goes to the kitchen to make some coffee.

we then see the famous "gun barrel" intro, followed by the credits. however, this time, the credits are silent. no music, no dialogue, nothing--just absolute silence to go with the visuals.

Well, at least it would be the first time Chris would actually like a Bond movie!

Eddie won't watch another Bond movie until they cast Matt Damon.

As the Bond movies progressed, the pre-title sequences were always longer and bigger than the previous films. If you look at Goldfinger or From Russia With Love for example, the pre-title sequences don't even come close to 10 minutes. When the Brosnan Bond movies came out, I remember sitting there going, "did they forget about the titles??" I think the two I remember the most being overly long were the pre-title sequences for The World is Not Enough and Die Another Day...perhaps 15 minutes or longer if I remember correctly.

I liked how they made the newer Craig films shorter, more concise. It's a quick bang to whet your appetite and then it goes into the obligatory title sequence which a Bond movie should never be without.

I personally enjoyed Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace very much. I'm excited to see where they take the continuing movies and how they'e going to expand on the new "SPECTRE-like" villian. I'm also curious about if and when they decide to go with a new "Moneypenny" and/or "Q" character.

Loved the movie! I loved it so much I will wait for the second release. That one will have all the stuff they left out of this one.

To the negative commentors about no story, poor editing, blah blah blah...go screw yourself!

The best analogy for Casino and Quantum is Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2. You get the story in one chapter, and all the action in the other.

Quantum is a fantastic nonstop action movie from beginning to end. If you watch Casino and Quantum like you would Kill Bill 1 & 2, then you have a 4 hour epic fun ride that is very hard to beat.

Must see Casino before Quantum, but if you do you'll love this pair of movies.
