I wonder why Sony is not offering any games with their "game console"?

Good question Falcon. I think because games are sometimes 2x more expensive and don't sell as many copies as movies.

Well I would like to make the switch to Bluray but we have no deals here. Why doesn't Amazon offer electronics to Canada? At Amazon.ca I can buy all the books and cds and movies I want but never any electronics.

Ironbull, if you're waiting for a good deal to get into bluray just wait a little longer as the PS3 is supposed to drop to $299 apparently. That's a great deal for a bluray player and everything else that a PS3 does!
