I noticed on my new LCD TV, that when I watch anything on TBS or FX (HD and SD) there is alot of judder. Is this normal, is there anyway of fixing this. Starz HD, History Channel HD, Food Network HD all the other channels as well as my Blu Ray player look amazing.

What's even worse is all the Turner broadcast channels stretch the picture! F TNT and TBS!!!

Yeah, not all HD channels are equal. Some of them look like upscaled standard-def (which is what a lot of them are) and stretched standard screen, as Tim says. The easiest fix is not watch them.

Agreed! But what's worse is we actually pay for it!

I almost lost my job today and I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!!!

Yeah those channels really do suck very bad. Now last night I had no judder with either TBS,TNT or FX. So it is the channels, I thought maybe it was a box issure from DirecTV. My old TV had only one HDMI and I had my TV hooked up to component. So I thought maybe the HDMI port was bad. Like I said STARZ and STARZ HD are amazing. As well as my Blu Ray and HD DVD, seriously guys, the only thing more beautiful than the picture on that LG is my daughter.

FOX has one of the worst fees known to man for HD. Just a year ago they were still broadcasting 480p for everything! They still use it for a good chunk of stuff...
