anyone else seen these strange but likable russian films?

i just got 'em on dvd for bugger all, but they are hard work to watch.

good idea but probably ripe for a hollywood remake given that everything has to be remade at the moment

They're both great films. I really hope they follow up with the third.

Same director as Wanted right? But yes I saw them and agree they need to make Twilight Watch

There have been a few interviews out there with Timur Bekmambetov stating that "Twilight Watch" is on permanent hold since the whole point of it was to film in North America. Since "Wanted" already achieved that, and since the box office returns on the previous "Night Watch" films were pretty poor, he's not in a big hurry to finish the series, if he can even get the funding. IMDB lists it as in pre-production, but it has done so for a couple of years now so here's hoping (for fans) that the cast and crew can get together to finish off the trilogy.
