price difference between a computer monitor 28' and a small tv 32' are not that much. Plus the 32'tv will give you crappy pc resolutions. now the actual 28' monitor is cool, has tons of -actual- resolutions, and even come with hdmi port nowdays.
just my two cents, i went through what you wanted to do, a few months back.
