Well, we don't really know the whole story. It sounds like that wasn't the first time the guy did something to annoy Bale, and if it was at the end of a long day and he just wanted to get the scene done I can see his point. Anyone who has ever seen a movie being filmed in person knows that it can be very trying to everyone's patience and if a scene was ruined because someone was wandering around the set I'd imagine it's even more frustrating for the actors.

this isn't the first time that bale has demonstrated churlish behavior. bale's history suggests that he has serious emotional issues.

I find my self on sets all the time, and i never saw anyone exploding like that. Usually professional people shut up and do their job.
Now, i understand, if you are an actor and you are expected to deliver, you have to go when you're ready to go. But let's face it, this is no thesp we are talking about, it's Christian Bale lisping through every miserable line from a script named "terminator 4: salvation"... i mean, how much interpretation and subtext can a film like that call for?

Now, that "guy" running around is the DoP...responsible for the entire look of the film, if he's not running around checking light all the time, who will?

Christian bale is just shouting out his child actor complexes to people, that's it.
