First of all, this news post is excellent. Second, on the PiP commentary track of The Bourne Supremacy, the producer introduced the commentary by saying something like "We've included commentary on this HD-DVD with special behind the scenes footage".

lol. Good ol' Universal.

They even kept the HD DVD trailers on last year's Bourne DVD box set. I remember thinking...WTF...

That reminds me of the commentary on the Chasing Amy dvd which was just ported over from the laserdisc. Kevin Smith spends the whole time bashing DVD as a format, which I found funny.

My HD DVD's work just great! There is not much difference between the Blu and HD DVD versions. No I did not triple dip. i borrowed from a friend. What I must say that pisses me off, Is the amount of Previews on Blu-Ray disks! that freaken blows my nuts....

Exactly Falcon. I was decompiling a few disc this week, and the Sony/Disney ones are the worst. Most situations the Movies are 23 to 26 gigs. Usually another 10 or 12 gigs for special features and I seen as much 10 gig wasted on previews... A remember all the arguments come back about how all the blu studios were going to use the extra space for the movies.

Yeah Disney bluray discs are LOADED with previews just like their DVD's. It's sooooooooo annoying especially since you pay a mega premium for their movies as it is. I just keep skipping to the next chapter til I get to the menu, or you can always try pressing Top Menu which brings you there also.

Agreed, the DVD movie files are usually around 5 gigs, when all of the other studios are usually 6.5 to 7.2 gigs. I have seen disney titles, and fox titles on dvd under 4.0 gigs. Cramming stuff on a 4.5 gig disc then loading all the special features son another single layer disc. Fox is notorious for that. Isn't great that Blu won the format war. More crap to send down our throats...
