Top Gun SE

I just picked this DVD up last week, and watched the special features yesterday. So far this SE is INCREDIBLE! If you are or ever were a Top Gun fan, this DVD is for you! And yes it's well worth replacing the original DVD release if you were like me and picked that up as soon as it hit the shelves. The DVD menues are amazing! A lot of work was put into them. Even the surround sound in the menue sequences on the special features disc is well done! I have to agree with "Hock Guan Teh's" review of this Special Edition. This special edition was made for fans. It celebrates "Top Gun" in a nostalgic way. The interviews with the actors, director, special effects crews, and other various people involved with the film are very in-depth, and explain the heart and soul that went into this film by everyone involved. It's no wonder this film was in theaters for a FULL YEAR, and was the top grossing movie of the year! As I mentioned, if you were any kind of Top Gun fan, this SE is better than any other SE that I've seen to date! With perhaps the exception of the LOTR SE's of course. ;)
