Best idea ever!! Now I have the bluray version for home and the kids can watch the DVD version in the car on family trips. It's about time!

I agree that it's about time this happened. HD-DVD had it right, and over a year ago no less.

Yes, this a good development.

HD DVD had it on the same disc while this is an extra DVD disc in the package.

I prefer it on a seperate disc so for me this is MUCH better than the digital copy.

Ditto Falcon. Digital Copy is a total waste. I think the industry is finally realizing that. I have never watched a movie on my Blackberry (not compatible with Digital Copy anyway) although I do have a piece of software that will convert a standard dvd to a Blackberry friendly .avi (I think) file and play it off the expansion card. And placing a Digital Copy file on your pc is a royal pain in the ass. I did it once. Never again.

Yes finally someone else see's the benefits of this. That's what I said on an earlier thread. The Blu Ray player is in my theater room and if you package a SD DVD at no additional cost. Well it becomes a benefit if you have a family and several SD DVD players. Yes great job indeed.
