Just another Halo

Ok, I've played both KZ2 and the Halo Wars Demo. They are both 2 different games. Halo is somewhat geared for on-line strategy play like EWQT (Enemey Wars: Quake Territory is better IMO). The on-line play for KZ2 is....how can I put it...unmatched. The assasination mode is too much and the action is in a word ALWAYS happening. On the 1st day I couldn't even join a match because they were all full. It's like every person with a PS3 bought the game.

Now for H3 Wars. After playing the demo it looked cartoonish so much so that I thought it was the Disney Channel, just my opinion. Evey hard core Halo fan that I talked to were like calling it' "Just Another Halo". IMO after witnessing Halo 3 and playing Halo Wars they are different games, the funny thing is Halo War's cut scenes are almost as good as KZ2 actual game play. But the wild card for Halo is much like ETQW it is not much to look at graphically but ETQW is a hell of a lot of fun to play. We'll have to see if Halo Wars is.

Sorry Halo but your day might have finally has come.

For owners of both systems, Killzone 2 is a must own.

Yes, graphically it kills any Halo, even for the for the 360 but will it out sell the Halo franchise? No, but it's a good start. After all of this, they are 2 different games for 2 different systems for 2 dfferent kinds of players. But if you were to compare Halo 3 against KZ2 there would be no comparison. KZ2 hands down.

Not likely.... The problem is that you can't quite have a Halo Killer or claim it to be a "Halo Killer" and have it be exclusive to an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT SYSTEM.

Well, comparing Halo Wars with Killzone 2 in terms of gameplay is like comparing oranges with apples. Not the same thing at all and not possible if you ask me. At least not in terms of graphics, gameplay etc. Popularity? Perhaps.

Comparing Halo 3 with KZ2 is another thing. Halo 3 which is now almost 1.5 years old is still considered one of the best online FPS of all time. Not sure if KZ2 will do anything about that but as I said before it is nice to finally see a game that can match the hardware of the PS3. Kudos to the Dutch development team.

Well considering that Halo Wars is a RTS not a FPS. You might as well say The Sims is a terrible racing game compared to Gran Turismo 5. They have completely different goals.

Why would you have Halo Wars and KZ2 in the same thread, they are about as different as games get. And the fact that you compare KZ2 which just came out to Halo 3, which has been out how long? a year? is pathetic. Tony has NO credibility when it comes to video games.

yeah halo wars is an RTS, those are my favorite types of games, ive bought all the command and conquer games on the 360, just bought red alert 3 and its awesome, i would say thatred alert 3 is better than halo wars, but halo wars is fun, ill probably buy it when i get tired of red alert 3

I didn't read all the posts so some one else may have said this but, Halo Wars is actually the original concept for Halo. However after some planning it ended up as a first person shooter. Oh and KZ2 though having nothing to do at all with Halo Wars is still a pretty cool game. Though it doesn't have Katee Sackoff in it like Resistance 2 does.

Oh and there will be no Halo killer on a system no one buys. But I am not really the biggest Halo fan. I think call of duty 4 had a much better multiplayer.
