View profile »This show is great. I watched seasons 1 thru 3 back in the late 1980s when it was re-run on PBS (without comercials!) - great writing, keeps you hooked. Missed the final (4th - Graduation) season, so hopefully the whole series will be issued on DVD before long.
IMDB trivia - The show lasted only one season on CBS, from 1978 to 1979, and was canceled because of low ratings. The cable channel Showtime revived the series in 1983, where it ran for three years without commercials and was a great success. John Houseman passed away a year after the series went off the air. However, it was never issued on VHS and, as of the end of 2008, has yet to appear on DVD.
