Check out the awesome Cover Art that Warner has done for this ultimate collector's edition of WOODSTOCK - View 4 Images

The article also now provides more details on the included collectibles -

LUCITE display with images from the festival
• 60-Page Commemorative LIFE MAGAZINE Reprint
• Iron-on WOODSTOCK PATCH
• Festival Memorabilia including Reproductions of HANDWRITTEN NOTES and a Three-Day Ticket
Numbered, Limited-Edition Sets for Enhanced Collectibility

Will be here in a little over two months. This is a must purchase for me! (I own the previous LaserDisc Director's Cut, but not the DVD).

"The cold rainy grey sky morning. Mud covered drug derranged "God" children filtering the last remaining brain cell are headed out of the crashed gates in droves...and then it happens...and hardly anybody sees."

"JIMI, takes the stage and sends distortion laden bliss into outerspace. That morning the entire universe heard America's heart..."

The infamous Country Joe McDonald (gimme an F*U*C*K* -sigh-) I would actually consider at least a good acquaintance, if not a friend. For those here in the "know", the folk tour has always been a big part of my life, and Joe from Woodstock fame is a very cool guy who has never given into the "big guy" to this day.

I cannot wait for this release to show up in my hands...June cannot come soon enough...

As a quick sidebar, on a whim, I picked up the Blu-ray version of "The Last Waltz" by The Band last week...I have pretty much wore out my DVD version...and all I can say is OMG

It was the absolute best ear-sex I have ever had...just short of being front and center for a Ray Charles concert.

The visuals were what I expected from a 31 year old film transfered to Blu-ray.

So, if Warner Bros. can put even just a little bit of the audio/visual magic back into this 40th Anniversary release, I am so there
