It seems like the folks up in Connecticut are having a few problems.The Southington house up in Connecticut is attracting rubberneckers. This is the house that is supposed to be haunted and is the basis of the movie The Haunting in Connecticut. The Baltimore Sun has a story on it. Now if I am correct, did the house in Long Island have the same problem when The Ammityville Horror came out? If I were the owners, I would set up a hotdog stand and make some $ out of the deal LOL.

Actually, in the Amityville House, the Lutz's flee the house in the middle of the night never to return. The next family that moved in could have made some bank, but even then it would be several years before the book became a #1 best seller. Plus, the Lutz's would probably sue for royalties no matter what family would offer paid tours. Strange thing is, every family that has moved into the Amityville house since the Lutz's horrifying ordeal have never reported anything out of the ordinary. Of course, after the Lutz family vanished, the house was cleansed by this lady:

that ladys voice scares the hell out of me, i still to this day cant poltergeist! movie scares the hell out of me!
